Disclaimer/Legal
Masks are provided by MMP to members of the community free of charge and are not intended for sale or resale. It is the responsibility of the person requesting the mask to determine the most appropriate use of the mask. MMP makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees about the donated masks, which are provided “as is.” In particular, (1) MMP makes no representation that any PPE can offer airborne protection or prevent the spread of COVID 19; (2) donated masks are not N95 masks or in any way equivalent to N95 masks, and should not be used as such; and (3) donated masks should not, and are not intended to, take the place of proper social distancing standards set forth by local, state and/or federal government.
Acceptance of donated masks constitutes (1) the acceptance of any risk associated with the use, re-use or misuse of such masks, regardless of cause, including the risk that the mask is insufficient to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and (2) the waiver and release of MMP with respect to any and all causes of action resulting from the donated masks.
